The MECCA Cross-Country Ski Trails are located in the town of Mercer, Wisconsin. They run across a combination of State, County, Town, and private lands. There are approximately 18 Km of trails groomed for classic and/or skate skiing. Trails are groomed by volunteers, as conditions allow. Snowshoeing and dogs are allowed only on the untracked portions of the trails.
The trails are also open for hiking and biking in the spring, summer, and autumn. The trails are not open to hiking or biking in the winter. Not even fat-tires.
The daily trail-use donation suggestions are $8 per adult, $5 per child, $1 per dog, or $20 for however many people you have in your car.
Mercer is holding their annual Candy Cane Parade on Saturday, December 10th, at 3:30pm. MECCA's float has won awards and prizes in the past, so come on out and cheer us on, again!
The Candlelight Ski will be January 28th this season. We are looking at having chili and assorted goodies, along with hot chocolate and cider. The evening is scheduled for 6pm to 9pm. We hope to have a great evening... And to see you there!
