The MECCA Cross-Country Ski Trails are located in the town of Mercer, Wisconsin. They run across a combination of State, County, Town, and private lands. There are approximately 18 Km of trails groomed for classic and/or skate skiing. Trails are groomed by volunteers, as conditions allow. Hiking, snowshoeing, and dogs are allowed only on the untracked portions of the trails.
The trails are also open for hiking and mountain biking in the spring, summer, and autumn.
The daily trail-use donation suggestions are $8 per adult, $5 per child, $1 per dog, or $20 for however many people you have in your car.
Unfortunately, our NPO status lapsed. Our re-application is in, but we have no idea when it will be reviewed. Stay tuned... I'm sure there will be bells and whistles on the website when it is approved. Until then, membership year dues and donations are not tax deductible.

Everybody is welcome to attend... Striders, skaters, fast, or slow. The group usually goes out to a local restaurant for dinner after.
The National Weather Service produces a snow depth map for the whole Country.
NOTE: Since we maxed out the shallow snow depth map, which only goes to twenty-four inches, I switched to the normal snow depth map...
