2013.05.03 -- SKIING IN MAY

Winter won't go away.  We had temps in the 70s and 80s last weekend.  Then we received 6-8 inches of snow.  Kelly went skiing on Friday the 3rd, just to say that she skied in May...

2012.03.03 -- SKIJORING VIDEO

The trails received about a foot of snow on Wednesday.  The groomers pounded it into shape of Thursday and Friday.  We went skiing on Saturday.  The trees were loaded with snow!  I took a few videos and spliced them together...

The video shows parts of the Osprey, Moose, and Fox trails, and ends with a dramatic pan of the Little Turtle Flowage.  Kody is an almost-two-year-old Mixed Retriever.  I have to let Kelly and Abe ski ahead for him to really pull.  We got the harness to help wear him out.  I don't have a belt...  I just hang on to a leash clipped to the harness, so you'll see both poles in my left hand waving around occasionally.
